Hi, Iām Stephanie from Liverpool in England.
As a child I was inquisitive and I loved learning about anything and everything. My first ambition was to be a nurse, then a geologist, Greenpeace activist,Ā a dentist and I finally settled upon becoming a podiatrist.
I was happy and successful but I knew that something was missing from my life. I decided that Travel was missing so I gave up all that I knew to plan an epic career break in Asia and Oceania.
During my RTW trip I travelled to 10 countries in 10 months. I travelled around South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand overland. I also visited awe inspiring Dubai and charming Sri Lanka.
Before discovering travel I was a wimp and a diva, I was scared of taking risks and always took the safe road in life. One of my aims of travel was to push myself out of my comfort zone constantly. I now have a PADI licence, Lived with a crazy ex monk for a week, have rode an Elephant and a camel, canoed and kayaked across the world, attempted body-boarding in Surfers Paradise, jumped out of a plane 12000 feet high, bungy jumped at the worlds first bungy site in Queeenstown and trekked through the Thai jungle, staying with Burmese hill tribes on the way.
I am no longer a wimp!
Travel is amazing and life changing but travelling alone is not always easy. I will tell you the realities of travelling the world as a solo female travel. Every post is honest and from the heart.
Please feel free to ask me any questions you like about travelling long term, alone as a female. I will answer every question honestly.

Hi Elisa! The le sac dress is the perfect travel dress, I wear it all of the time and it’s so easy to pack and hardly ever creases!
Good luck with your trip! Just let me know if you have any questions about travel!
